An exclusive, antimicrobial cover washdown hose for the food industry. Fortress is the only washdown hose with Microban® antimicrobial product protection. This inhibits the growth of bacteria and mold that can cause odor, stains or degradation of the hose cover. Tube is made from black Chemigum®, reinforcement in the 300 and 1,000 psi hoses is synthetic yarn, reinforcement in the 3,000 psi version is braided steel wire and cover is yellow Carbryn® ARPM Class A (high oil resistance).
