- Two-way, two-position, spool-type, direct-acting, normally-open screw-in cartridge solenoid valve. In the de-energized position, bi-directional flow between port 1 and port 2 is allowed. In the energized position, both ports are closed.

- Maintain 5 to 8 Nm (4 to 6 ft lb) maximum torque on valve tube nut
- over-tightening may cause failure
- Aluminum housings can be used for pressures up to 210 bar (3,000 psi)
- Steel housings must be used for operating pressures above 210 bar (3,000 psi)
