- Air Over Oil Cooler
- 230/460 Volt Three Phase Motor
- SAE 20 Port Size
- 75 gpm Maximum Flow
description
- These air-cooled heat exchangers are used in hydraulic systems to remove heat from the system. It is recommended by manufacturers that the oil not exceed 140 °F. Excessive temperatures can cause the oil to oxidize, forming gum, varnish resins, sludge and acids. These by-products shorten the life of oil, cause valves to stick and can cause erratic operation of the hydraulic system. Excessive heat in the system also reduces efficiency while consuming more energy.
