With a heat-treated, P-grade aluminum oxide abrasive, these sheets work great when sanding materials that tend to load, including painted surfaces, plastics and composites. They also work well on fiberglass, aluminum, brass, bronze, titanium, super alloys, a variety of steels, and hard and soft woods. Featuring a fiber-reinforced, latex-saturated B-weight backing and water-based stearate open coating, these non-pigmented sheets resist clogging and provide 50 to 60 percent better improvement in tear strength.
