- External lip seals. Designs press-fit on shaft or spindle with sealing element contacting bore. Spring-loaded styles to handle retention of fluid are also available. All styles may be used with lip facing outward to exclude dirt and permit flushing bearing and seal cavities from within. Commonly used in agricultural equipment.
